Our Heartfelt Thanks...
There are many close friends and special people that have contributed to making Misty Hollow Farm possible. The list below is in no particular order. When there are people this special to you, it's impossible to find any one "most important" or "best" anyone or anything. Those listed below are all unique and have many different qualities that have helped shaped Misty Hollow through the course of time.
Charlie the Feed Man: Charlie runs Putnam Farmers Co-Op. I can't remember when Charlie wasn't there for many local farms of all shapes and sizes. He can get you anything you need, for a very fair price. Just ask, and he'll try. THANK YOU, PUTNAM FARMERS CO-OP!
Pine Hollow Stables: (No longer in business) This was the first place that I discovered the 4-H program, a love of animals, and my desire to learn. Thanks for being there in the very beginning, and inspiring me to keep going.
Beth Stone: Owner of Cornerstone Farm in Foster, RI. Beth, thanks for being there, and for showing me and Tanna and Cookie that nothing was impossible. Thanks for the kind words, the lessons, the encouragement, and the opportunity.
David Hosmer and Family: Thanks first and foremost for your friendship and kindness over many years. Thanks for always being there no matter what, and knowing that we're here too.
Nancy Platt: Thanks for keeping such beautiful bunnies, and for our wonderful foundation stock. Your dedication to the French Angora breed is truly inspiring, and we hope to carry on that tradition.
Savage Systems (especially Justin!): Located in Putnam, CT. Thanks for keeping the PC equipment up and running. Most importantly, thanks for always trying to fix it, even if the poor computer really IS dead. (Jen still feels bad that it gave you such a fit!) Thanks for giving me credit for at least half a brain, and always listening carefully to whatever technological problem that came up before deciding what to do about it.
PHF Cages: (Maine) Unrivaled quality and craftsmanship in all things bunny! You need it, PHF Cages makes it! Thanks for going out on a limb and trying something new. Thanks for what may be the biggest chance ever!
Muriel Pontbriant: One really special woman who devoted her life to teaching. She has taught two generations of Jen's family, and without her, there would be no spelling, grammar, proper punctuation, or love of literature and learning.
Our Horse and Bunny Friends: Thanks for the welcome, the hugs, and the smiles. Showing wouldn't be any fun at all without all of you!
Everyone Who Ever Told Us "NO!:" Thanks. We needed that. We also enjoy the challenge! Bring it on! We'll keep proving that we CAN do 'It...' Whatever 'It' may be!
